FIND DAVID BOWIE PHOTOGRAPH IN EXHIBITIONPaul Windsor

Whilst Paul’s school friends picked up guitars and formed bands, he picked up a camera and inspired by the likes of Anton Corbijn and Pennie Smith from the pages of the NME, he embarked on a journey of photographing live music.

Starting with an emerging New Order at Walthamstow Town Hall in 1982, he has gone onto photograph of the biggest names in rock music.

In 1994 the confluence of The Wedgewood Rooms , the Portsmouth News and the emerging Britpop scene saw Paul behind on hand to capture the moment including Oasis on their debut UK tour.

Festivals soon followed and he had the privilege to photograph, David Bowie, The Who , Iggy Pop and many others.

Paul continues to photograph live bands and has covered every Victorious Festival in Southsea.

‘It’s in my blood I guess, I find it very difficult to go to a gig without a camera in my hand ‘
